The purpose of the project is to raise awareness on Turkey’s renewable energy potential and its applicability as well as increasing the share of renewable energy resources on net energy demand and emphasize the role of renewable energy in Turkey. In this respect, this project will raise awareness of public authorities in 10 cities on environment and energy issues. The wind turbine and the PV panels fitted on the roof of the TETTA vehicle will provide electrical energy to air conditioner, electrical oven, heater, television and lightening systems inside the vehicle. Thus, the public will be informed about renewable energy and its applications. In addition to that it will be exemplified that these types of energy systems can be a solution, especially in disaster areas and in those areas where urban grid connections are inaccessible. The project aims at increasing public awareness on the crucial place of renewable energy alternatives in the fight against global climate change. Media and communication activities will support the spill-over effects of the Project.
